What To Expect

Bucks Live Presents: NeverLand

Bucks Live presents Neverland, an all-day family event featuring Fairground Rides, Live Music, the ever-popular Inflatable Zone, Face Painting, Food stalls and more! Neverland takes place on Saturday 29th April at Buckinghamshire New University between 10am and 4pm. The day is inspired by the adventures of Peter Pan and is FREE to attend!

Neverland will open at 10am and will feature exciting attractions and live entertainment including pirates and pixies – in a fun filled day for the entire family. There will be Fairground Rides, including tea cups, a carousel, chair-o-planes and also bungee trampolines, and the return of the ever-popular Inflatable Zone where the children can take on an 85ft assault course, climb the giant London slide or have a go on the pirate bouncy castle! The younger children (under 5’s) will also have their own play area. Our Face Painter could even style you to look like Peter or Tinkerbell, or maybe nasty old Captain Hook! There will also be numerous Food Stalls and Local Traders operating throughout the day, including Great Gizmos where you will be able to buy lots of toys. You might even be able to meet Tinkerbell and Peter Pan themselves as they will be joining us on the day!

Entertainment on our main stage and performance spaces will come from fantastic Live Bands, popular Local Community Groups and a number of Bucks New Uni societies. The acts already confirmed for the main stage are High Wycombe’s very own Harry Quinn, Emma McGrath, who recently featured on BBC Introducing, Erin Tiger Lilley, Wycombe Abbey Jazz Quartet, Holmer Green Choir and Holmer Green School Rock Band. We will also be joined by the fire brigade, who will also be providing tours over at the fire station! Another attraction on the day will be a visit from The Hearing Dogs For The Deaf, so the family will be able to meet all of the ever so hard working puppies!

Neverland is being staged by the 2nd year Music & Live Events Management students as part of their Event Management module. These events have grown in popularity over the years and this will be the 5th year that the students, under the banner of ‘Bucks Live’, have presented these family fun days.

We hope to see you and your family at the university on the day!
