The SubWoofers Music Festival is family-friendly! It’s dog-friendly! It’s deaf-friendly! It takes place on Sunday 6 May, at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s beautiful centre nestled among the idyllic Chiltern hills. It has a brilliant line-up of acts on two stages, food and drinks*, attractions and rides*, plus all proceeds help deaf people leave behind loneliness and reconnect with life.

The Silent Child

We will be showing special screenings of the Oscar-winning film The Silent Child!The Silent Childsc screening at SubWoofers Music Festival

This wonderful short film tells the story of a profoundly deaf four-year-old called Libby, who is taught how to communicate through sign language by a social worker.

The film won the Live Action Short Film category at the 90th Academy Awards, and we’re immensely proud to be featuring it at SubWoofers.
